Lake Mills Town and Country Days 2025 is almost here!
Many sweet memories are made on this annual weekend to remember in downtown Lake Mills.
What is Lake Mills Town and Country Days?
Lake Mills Town and Country Days is a popular summer festival that happens over four days the last full weekend in June.
Highlights of this annual small-town festival include:
- Carnival Rides & Games
- Parade
- Beer Tent
- Live Music
- Dunk Tank
- Big Wheel Races
- Good Food (like the FFA BBQ Lunch and Legion Sliders)
When is Town and Country Days 2025?
Town and Country Days will run Thursday, June 26 through Sunday, June 29, 2025.
The Town and Country Days festival is always the last full weekend in June.
When is the Town and Country Days Parade 2025?
The 2025 parade will take place on Saturday, June 28th, 2025 at 10:30 A.M.
Enjoy many local floats, cool cars and trucks, dancers, live music, and more.
Look for the Shine Realty crew walking with the cool blue Shine Van!
The parade route will go down Main Street from East Park Place to East Prospect Street in Lake Mills.

The parade is coordinated by Legendary Lake Mills, a Chamber Main Street organization. If you’re interested in being in the parade, you can find the parade application here.
FFA Alumni Lunch Following the Parade
Historically, the Lake Mills FFA Alumni hosts their annual BBQ pork fundraiser in the park on Saturday following the parade in Commons Park.
The meal consisted of a pork loin sandwich, chips, a pickle, a cookie, and milk for $12.
Big Wheel Races Following the Parade
The 35th Annual Big Wheel Races will take place again following the Town and Country Days Parade.
- Who: Kids ages 3, 4, and 5
- When: 12:30 PM on Saturday, June 28, 2025
- Where: Leader Printing’s parking lot

The Big Wheel Races are hosted by the Lake Mills Optimist Club.
Town and Country Days Rides, Tickets, & Wristbands
Carnival Rides and Games are open all four days along East Lake Street, Lake Mills (including in front of the Shine Realty Lake Mills office.)
You can use wristbands for unlimited carnival rides for one ride session or you can purchase tickets to use on the rides. You may purchase wristband vouchers for a discounted price in advance from the Lake Mills Leader office or you can purchase wristbands or tickets at the event.
2025 TOWN & COUNTRY DAYS CARNIVAL RIDE SCHEDULE
Thursday: 5:00-9:00 P.M.
Friday: 5:00-9:00 P.M.
Saturday: 12:00-4:00 P.M. and 5:00-9:00 P.M.
Sunday: 12:00-4:00 P.M.

“Town and Country Days wristband vouchers are now on sale at the Leader Independent office, 320 N. Main Street. Vouchers are $22 at the Leader, a reduced rate from what will be sold at the park $25. All vouchers must be redeemed for a wristband at the carnival midway ticket booth at the time of use — Thursday and Friday 5-9 p.m., Saturday 12-4 p.m. and 5-9 p.m., and Sunday 12-4 p.m. Sales will be available until noon on Friday, June 27 and purchases are cash or check ONLY (made out to the American Legion). A percentage of sales goes to the Lake Mills American Legion Post 67. The Leader Independent summer hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a.m.-3 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to noon. We CANNOT SAVE vouchers for anyone. GET THEM EARLY, LAST YEAR WE SOLD OUT!!!
The carnival rides are organized by American Legion Post 67.
Town and Country Days Music Lineup 2025
The Sons of the American Legion coordinates the music and beer tent for Town & Country Days.
FOR 2025, THE MUSIC LINEUP IS AS FOLLOWS:
- Thursday, June 26 – The Lowdown, 7-10 PM
- Friday, June 27 – The Rotation, 7:30-11:30 PM
- Saturday, June 28 – Under the Beer Tent (Andy Braun), 2:30-5 PM and Big Spoon, 7:30-11:30 PM
- Sunday, June 29 – The Whiskeybelles, 1-4 PM

Town and Country Days Slider Mobile & Legion Bar Schedule
From the American Legion Post 67 Facebook page:
“The Slider Mobile will be in its usual spot at the park. We will open up on Thursday around noon. Come on down and get a delicious slider. Plenty of fun to be had by everyone. Sliders, Music, Beer tent, and carnival rides. Looking forward to seeing you soon.”
The following will be the scheduled Legion bar hours during Town and Country Days and the 4th of July:
- Friday, June 27th: Noon to Close
- Saturday June 28th: 3pm to Close
- Sunday June 29th: Noon to close
July 4th: Noon to Close — Note that on Friday, July 4th the Slider stand and Bingo will be closed to give all of our volunteers a much-needed rest. But the bar will be open if you get thirsty and want to cool down!”
